Art Feynman

In July we got our first taste of Art Feynman's sonic world via his debut full-length Blast Off Through The Wicker, an album described by Pitchfork as “...coked-out dub-kraut,” and by Tiny Mix Tapes as a “…deliriously colorful…analog masterpiece.” Feynman (aka Luke Temple) toured the US with Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier in August, and this December he returns with the Near Negative EP. Fans will recognize Feynman's signature grooves, krautrock slink, and staccato bounce (all captured on his trusty four-track cassette recorder) on songs like “Monday Give Me Monday,” “Shelter,” and “I'll Get Your Money.” Feynman's gentler Arthur Russell-inspired side shines though on “Love You Even More,” and he explores new territory on the acoustic instrumental “My Tuke,” and the spaced out dance jam “Asia's Way.”
In 2018 Art Feynman will return with his sophomore LP that takes us even further into his motorik and afrobeat inspired world of sound.
